It is our desire to reach the country of Colombia with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and we are confident this can be accomplished through faith in our great God, fervent prayer, and faithful obedience to His commands.
Our goal is to arrive in the city of Medellín, Colombia where we will gain additional on-field training through veteran missionary Miguel Sanabria. Through planting churches, preaching the Word of God, soul-winning, one-on-one discipleship and leader training, we desire to see Colombian men trained as pastors and sent out to plant churches in their communities.
We would be honored to share our burden to see Christ glorified in Colombia with you and your church family. Thank you again for your time and may the Lord richly bless you.
I grew up in a Christian home where my father held family devotions, and my parents took us to church. Since I was at church for every service, I heard the Gospel many times before accepting Christ as my Savior at age 5. My father took the Word of God and led me to the Lord and from that moment I became a new creature. I continued going to church with my family, and after my first year of college we began attending Vision Baptist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. There I was exposed to opportunities to serve and teach, and soon became involved in the Spanish ministry in 2011. After several years of leading music and teaching in the Spanish ministry God moved my wife and I to teach the English middle school class where we were privileged to serve for four years.
My dad led me to the Lord at age six in my childhood home after I had been under the Holy Spirit’s conviction for many nights. I continued to grow in my understanding of the Bible under my parents’ teaching and in my local church. At age 17, I was blessed to join my parents in helping to start Vision Baptist Church in Alpharetta, GA. Over the past 15 years at Vision, I’ve been privileged to be a part of the music ministry as pianist, lead kids choir, volunteer in nursery, and serve alongside my husband in both Spanish church and middle school ministry. I am grateful for God’s leading and call to my husband and I as we continue to follow Him.
Our Call to Ministry
Having grown up in church, I had seen missionaries and heard about world evangelism, but at Vision I learned of the need for the Gospel around the world. Missions work had been in my mind for several years, but when I visited veteran missionary Miguel Sanabria and his church in Medellín in December 2018, the Lord began to move my heart towards Colombia in a serious way. From then on I began to pray specifically about our family serving as missionaries in Colombia. Through His Word, which truly is the lamp for our feet, God confirmed His call in my heart to dedicate my life to full time church-planting ministry in Colombia.
